Subject Headings

Library of Congress Subject Headings (LCSH).  Type in the broad subject of your course/paper in the LC search box (e.g. Old Testament, New Testament, Jesus Christ) using the default search parameter - LC Subject Heading - to get the relevant subject terms (controlled vocabulary). Then use the LCSH to find books in the Brookes Bible College Library catalogue by Subject, click on Subject and type the LCSH in Find results with the exact phrase (if you are searching one term) or in Find results with all of the words (if you are searching more than one term):

Browse Subject Headings for theological literature provided by The Wabash Center For Teaching and Learning in Theology and Religion. Be sure to select the proper format (e.g., journal, e-text, web, bibliography, image) after you have clicked on a Subject Heading (e.g., Bible -- N.T.) to find the appropriate information for you.

Browse by Subject in Christian Classic Ethereal Library (CCEL)
